CoHO, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in the state of Arkansas, seeks to address homelessness in Conway by establishing Hope Village. Hope Village will be a tiny home community that primarily serves very low/low-income individuals and families. We imagine the creation of a community which affirms human dignity, offers quality housing, and provides a foundation for homeless advocacy in the city of Conway.
HUMANITY MATTERS
We have a responsibility to one another to be compassionate and creative; shaping a world in which we all have the opportunity to flourish as human beings.
DignityIndividuals and families, alike, should have access to housing that provides a sense of self-respect. |
QualityThe quality of construction is determined by the spirit of excellence that is its labor of love. |
AdvocacyNeither income, nor race, nor nationality should determine the necessity for proper shelter. It is vital for everyone. |
We exist to advocate for others through the opening of holistic centers within under-resourced areas in Central Arkansas, in order to influence change through active presence and relational transformation. Imagine men, women, and children LIVING in a place where every aspect of the self can be nourished: material, economic, psychological, and spiritual. Imagine a place that is, for them, a community of hope.

What/WhereHope Village
Hope Village will be an extension of our Housing Initiative, which began with our Hope Home, a transitional home for men. This extension will include housing for families, as well as individuals from the homeless to the moderate-income bracket. The homes will be located between the CoHO Hope Home and main offices.

WhyLove
There is a need in this city that necessitates championing the issue of homelessness in such a way that shows compassion and care for humanity on a greater scale than previously seen. It is CoHO’s intent to lead by example in loving our neighbors with more than words, but in actions as well.
